The Killeen ISD Career Center was full of activity this week as students excitedly dived into hands-on projects and embraced their creativity!
Taking part in Camp Pursuit, Camp Invention, KISD Fine Arts Visual Arts Camp and more, campers explored science, technology and the arts, and fine-tuned problem-solving skills. They designed astronauts, rovers and dwellings for a trip to Mars, constructed robots, screen printed T-shirts, sewed, painted, sculpted, and much more.
The learning, and innovating, never stops in KISD!

Harmony poured into the Killeen High School hallways this week during the KISD Fine Arts middle school and high school band camps. While metronomes kept time in small group breakout sessions and on the main stage, the students kept learning as they navigated their notes and played their instruments.
To conclude the week, instructors at the camp said there are two opportunities to hear the sweet sound of hard work with ensemble performances at 6 p.m. Thursday and band performances at 6 p.m. Friday, both in the KHS auditorium. #WeAreKISD
